Job Summary
The Messenger is responsible for the timely delivery and collection of documents, packages, and other items between offices, clients, government agencies, and business partners. This role ensures that all deliveries are handled securely, accurately, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up documents, parcels, and other items to and from designated locations
- Ensure all items are handled with care and confidentiality
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required
- Process and submit documents to government offices, banks, and other institutions
- Monitor and track delivery schedules to ensure timely completion
- Maintain a logbook or record of all transactions and deliveries
- Perform basic clerical tasks when not on delivery duty
- Assist with errands as assigned by the office or supervisor
Qualifications
- At least High School Graduate
- With valid drivers license is an advantage
- Familiar with local routes and transportation systems
- Physically fit and able to travel frequently
- Trustworthy, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
