About the Role

As the Merchant Affiliations Officer of Maybank Philippines, you will be responsible for acquiring, onboarding and managing merchant partners to deliver offers, promotions and partnerships that drive card usage, transaction volume, and customer engagement. The position focuses on identifying merchants, structuring commercial offers and executing campaigns aligned with the Bank's strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationship with merchants and monitor merchant activity
• Strategic visits to merchants that are potentially targeted by competitors
• Increase customer loyalty thru frequent communication with merchants
• Accommodate all merchant concerns and issues
• Identify the needs of existing merchants
• Monitor Sales and profitability and identify cross sell opportunities
• Review accounts on a quarterly basis to check if the projected sales indicated in the P&L is met
• Acquire new-to-Bank merchants aligned with the current profit-loss mode

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year business course
• At least two (2) years experience in Credit Card Merchant Acquisition / Sales.

Required Skills

• Excellent oral and written English/Filipino
• Knowledge of the Cards Business and the Merchant Acquiring industry
• Ability to propose, negotiate and close deals in attracting new merchants or expanding existing relationships
• Ability to multitask
• Willing to do field work
