Your Role
As the Merchant Acquiring Head, you will be in charge of the formulation and implementation of strategies to grow the Merchant Acquiring business profitably including recruitment and management of merchant accounts.
How You'll Contribute
People and Process Management:
- Formulate business strategies in a business plan and financial targets and come up with catch up plans in case of performance gaps
- Set goals and objectives for the Merchant Acquiring Officers and monitor performance thru regular meetings, business review and individual conversations and assessment
- Improve business processes by reviewing the SPI and OM on a regular basis
- Synergize to other CUL units to support Merchant Acquiring and overall CUL business objectives thru merchant partnerships and tie-ups
Merchant MManagement and Acquisition:
- Recruit merchants by identifying target segments and industry
- Identify and affiliate key merchants by monitoring market movement and trends
- Manage relationship with merchants and monitor merchant activity
- Be updated with industry trends and competitors movement; Participate in industry activities through CCAP
What We're Looking for
- College Graduate of any business course; MBA is an advantage
- With at least 5 years of experience in merchant acquiring business focusing on sales, marketing andpartnership
- With extensive knowledge cards, banking and other related services
- A strong track record in acquiring new merchants, growing market share, and meeting sales targets is crucial
- A Strong understanding of payment gateways, POS systems, online payment processes, and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Team Player with the ability to work cross-functionallyand solve complex problems in a fast paced environment
