Job Summary
We are seeking a
Merchandising Supervisor – Retail to oversee daily merchandising operations and ensure the effective execution of merchandising strategies across assigned product categories. The ideal candidate has strong merchandising experience and the ability to lead a team while maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily merchandising activities to support sales and inventory objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels, product availability, and merchandising execution.
- Analyze sales and inventory performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Buying, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient product flow.
- Lead, coach, and support merchandising staff in achieving team goals.
- Ensure merchandising standards and product presentation are consistently maintained.
- Prepare merchandising reports and performance updates.
- Identify opportunities to improve merchandising processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of merchandising experience in the retail industry.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is required.
- Strong understanding of merchandising, inventory management, and retail operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and merchandising or ERP systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
