Job Description

Merchandising Specialist

As a Merchandising Specialist, you will work closely with the Category Merchandising Manager to support the execution of merchandising strategies and initiatives across the field. You will play a key role in coordinating projects, tracking progress, and supporting cross-functional teams in delivering impactful merchandising solutions.

OVERSEE AND MEASURE

  • Support the merchandising department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of merchandising projects.
  • Monitor and coordinate merchandising projects, including progress, budget, actual execution, and impact on sales.
  • Select and develop relations with creative agencies and other key suppliers to deliver best-in-class presentations in store of the company.
  • Review vendors CE, prepare PO and payment request.
  • Assist in deployment and develop Perfect Store project in Philippines. Develop Perfect Clinic and Perfect PRO.
  • Assist internal stakeholders with new merchandising tools opportunities and support launches of new products by proposing and executing new merchandising tools.
  • Work closely with all internal departments and external suppliers involved in Perfect Store project and Category growth.
  • Assist in implementing merchandising plans to support marketing and promotion of products at their client locations.

TRAIN OUR STAKEHOLDERS

  • Assist in creating merchandising educational material for in-store trainings (design concepts, display standards, brand planograms, and proper maintenance of the overall visual display effort)

PROVIDE MATERIAL

  • Assist in building a comprehensive merchandising catalog and maintain availability for the salesforce.
  • Negotiate with local vendors to ensure cost efficiencies without compromising on the quality of output.
  • Coordinate orders of merchandising tools from France when needed.
  • Manage the stock of merchandising materials in our storage(s) and optimize the usage.
  • Together with partnered suppliers: execute visual presentation, move merchandise, shelving and fixtures when needed.

SELL PROJECTS

  • Utilize the company layout software to support our salesforce and our customers regarding products layout and category vision.
  • Assist in providing salesforce with a merchandising book that contains strategy, case studies, sales folders, and product layouts.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing or business or advertising
  • Must Have ADOBE Photoshop/Illustrator experience.
  • Experience in related FMCG brand merchandising/marketing plan development Project management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Applications
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Consumer & Customer Understanding
