Job Description
- Manage the Merchandising team and be responsible for the entire buying and merchandising function for retail and e-commerce.
- Provide analysis and trade reports as needed.
- Organize and manage the buying across all brands and channels.
- Using data provided by Sales and IT, produce in-season reports, forecasting, and formulate buying plans.
- Measure and monitor the performance of the merchandise on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Be in charge of the suggested allocation and distribution of stocks.
- Partner with the Retail teams to create and implement clear procedures and guidelines to ensure launches, sales, and other activities are executed seamlessly.
- Operate as a strategic business manager, overseeing the Merchandising team's effectiveness and processes, teaching best practices.
- Conduct thorough performance monitoring and reporting in times of crises or issues.
- Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
- At least 2 years of working experience specializing in Merchandising or equivalent.
- Excellent personality, communication, and social skills.
- Highly sociable, with a pleasing personality.
- Highly analytical with good negotiation skills.
- A working knowledge in retail merchandising is an advantage.
- Computer literate and proficient with MS Excel.
