Location: Makati

Setup: Full onsite

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Compressed Work Schedule

Role Overview

The Merchandising Manager is responsible for driving product strategy, assortment planning, and in-store execution to maximize sales and profitability within the health and beauty category. This role ensures alignment of merchandising initiatives with market trends, brand positioning, and customer preferences. The position also leads a team to deliver effective product lifecycle and inventory management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree holder.
  • At least 5 years of merchandising management experience within the retail industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of people management or supervisory experience
  • Proven background in handling beauty-related categories such as fragrance, skincare, cosmetics, or other health & beauty products is a must.
  • Strong understanding of retail trends, consumer behavior, and product lifecycle management
  • Experience in assortment planning, inventory management, and sales analysis
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive merchandising decisions

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive sales growth and category performance within the beauty and health segment
  • Manage product assortment, pricing, and promotions based on market trends, customer insights, and business objectives
  • Oversee inventory planning, stock levels, and product lifecycle to ensure optimal availability and minimize obsolescence
  • Collaborate with suppliers, brand principals, and internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure successful product launches and campaigns
  • Analyze sales performance, customer demand, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the merchandising team to ensure high performance and alignment with business goals
  • Ensure consistent and compelling in-store and online product presentation in line with brand standards
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge in the market
