Job Summary
The Merchandising Manager is responsible for managing product categories, driving sales performance, and ensuring effective assortment and inventory planning. The role focuses on developing merchandising strategies, analyzing market trends, and optimizing product offerings to meet customer demand and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability
- Manage product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to guide decisions
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for product sourcing and availability
- Ensure proper product display, stock levels, and in-store execution
- Monitor inventory and manage replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Background in beauty, personal care, or related categories is highly preferred
- Experience in merchandising, category management, or retail operations
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge in handling fragrance, skincare, or hair color categories is a plus
