Merchandising Assistant (Industrial Engineering Path)

Are you an Industrial Engineering graduate who wants to apply your optimization skills to the dynamic world of retail We are looking for a Merchandising Assistant to serve as the analytical backbone of our inventory operations. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys using data to solve the puzzle of supply and demand.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will bridge the gap between sales trends and logistics. Your day-to-day will involve high-level data maintenance and hands-on inventory supervision:
- Inventory Strategy & Replenishment: You will manage the store allocation process, ensuring that replenishment is data-driven and that every store has the right stock levels to meet demand.
- Sales & Trend Analysis: You'll monitor store category performance, identifying trends and timing the scope of seasonal changes to keep our inventory fresh and relevant.
- End-to-End Supply Chain Support: From preparing Purchase Orders (POs) to overseeing the shipment process, you will ensure the smooth delivery of stocks from the supplier to our shelves.
- Physical Inventory Oversight: You won't just be behind a screen. You will supervise physical inventory counts at our Warehouse in Tanyag to ensure our system-based records are 100% accurate.
- System Maintenance: You'll be the gatekeeper of our inventory database, maintaining the integrity of our records and sensitive information.
Who You Are
- The Engineer Mindset: You hold a BS in Industrial Engineering. We value your ability to see processes and systems where others just see products.
- Experience Level: At least 1 year of retail experience is a plus, but we are actively welcoming Fresh Graduates who are eager to start their career in a fast-paced environment.
- The Excel Specialist: You are highly proficient in MS Excel and comfortable navigating Windows-based programs. You enjoy working with numbers and have a high degree of technical accuracy.
- Resilient & Responsible: You can handle multitasking under pressure and have the maturity to manage sensitive company data with total integrity.
- Effective Communicator: You are comfortable collaborating with different teams and can clearly articulate inventory needs between our BGC headquarters and the Tanyag warehouse.
Working Conditions
- Primary Base: BGC, Taguig.
- Fieldwork: Regular site visits to our warehouse in Tanyag, Taguig, to ensure physical operations align with our digital data.
