Job Description
- Develop and execute seasonal merchandise and assortment plans aligned to business objectives.
- Lead forecasting and sales planning to support commercial growth targets.
- Analyse product performance, consumer trends, and market insights to identify opportunities and risks.
- Determine purchase requirements and trading strategies to support revenue objectives.
- Monitor stock health, sell-through performance, weeks of supply, and product lifecycle metrics.
- Drive allocation and replenishment plans to optimise product availability across channels.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to excess stock, shortages, and demand fluctuations.
- Deliver regular business reviews, forecasting insights, and commercial recommendations to leadership.
- Maintain planning systems, reporting accuracy, and product data integrity.
- Partner with regional and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning effectiveness and execution.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in merchandise planning, retail planning, buying, forecasting.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Experience using planning systems and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong understanding of assortment planning, allocation, replenishment, and forecasting principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
