The MPC Officer shall provide assistance to the MPC Manager in monitoring the company's budget performance/activities, sales and inventory plans in order to achieve the company's financial objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
A. Business Analysis
- Analyzes and reviews all information for business planning and provides recommendations for the improvement of business performance relative to Sales, Gross Margin, Purchase Budget and Inventory Months To Carry (IMTC)
- Analyzes Monthly Management Performance Reports by brand
- Identifies and reports top brands per division
- Reviews pre-season merchandise plans and in season trending analysis and adjustments
- Monitors the reorder system to ensure the stock positioning of best-selling items
- Monitors and reviews the inventory requirement and proactively prevents shortages at the store locations
B. Pricing and Promotion
- Ensures that the sale proposals submitted by Merchandising strictly comply to the company's Sell Thru Policy and Markdown Scheme
- Analyzes the inventory (projected, stock on-hand, outstanding orders and actual purchases) and recommends merchandise to be put on sale
C. Report Generation
- Reports accurate Gross Margins calculating rebates and MGRs for concessionaires based on contracts
- Reports actual sales to Finance for commission calculation
- Prepares Saleability Reports for top management and ensures accurate information
- Calculates Merchandising's incentives and recommends strategies in achieving the incentive plan
D. Technical
- Coordinates with the Information Systems Division to ensure the accuracy of data in the company's inventory system
- Ensures that price events are in accordance with the approved sale proposals
- Ensures the correctness of the prices that will take effect in the stores
E. Other Responsibilities
- Schedules and conducts trainings for new MPC analysts and Merchandising executives
- Ensures that activities within the department strictly comply with the company's policies and procedures

Minimum Education: College graduate with a degree in Business/ Economics/ Finance or equivalent
Minimum Work Experience: At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in merchandise planning and analysis/ budget allocation
