Your impact

At Jacobs, we're redefining how energy and power facilities are designed and delivered. As a MEPF BIM Modeler/Drafter , you will support multidisciplinary project teams by developing coordinated and accurate digital models that drive smart, safe, and efficient solutions for power plants, substations, industrial facilities, and energy infrastructure. You'll help bring engineering concepts to life through highquality BIM execution that underpins every phase of project delivery.

In this role, you will

  • Develop and update MEPF Revit models for energy and industrial projects
  • Prepare 2D drawings, plans, sections, and details
  • Support model coordination across mechanical, electrical, piping, civil, and structural disciplines
  • Follow Jacobs BIM standards, client protocols, and project execution plans
  • Assist in clash detection and resolution activities
  • Organize and maintain model data within Common Data Environments (CDEs)
  • Collaborate with engineers and design leads to incorporate design inputs into coordinated models
  • Provide support in preparing design submission packages and documentation

Here's what you'll need

  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Tekla, and Microstation
  • Knowledge of MEPF systems applicable to energy and industrial facilities
  • Experience in power generation, substations, industrial plants, or energy facilities is preferred
  • Ability to read, interpret, and translate engineering sketches, markups, and schematics
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams and meet project deadlines
  • Knowledgeable in relevant international standards used in energy and industrial projects is a plus
