Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise MEP shop drawings, as-built drawings, and layout plans using AutoCAD
- Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and other disciplines
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and site conditions
- Ensure drawings comply with project requirements and standards
- Assist engineers in design development and detailing
- Update drawings based on site instructions, RFIs, and revisions
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
- Conduct quantity take-offs when required (basic support)
- Support site team for drawing-related concerns
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or related field
- Proven experience as AutoCAD MEP Draftsman/Designer (construction industry preferred)
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge in Revit is an advantage
- Familiar with MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good coordination and communication skills
