MEP Contracts Engineer

M Moser Associates Manila is looking for experienced and accomplished MEP Contracts Engineer for its interior fit-out design and build projects.

You will be working with M Moser's Manila team to deliver design and build projects to our global and Philippines clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cost estimation for the MEPF works, including high-level budget and detailed cost analysis, based on the requirements of Clients.
• Planning, developing and supervising project cost and commercial functions ensuring that all project reporting, cash flow, budgets and forecasts comply with the internal and client requirements.
• Communicate with Clients, external consultants and contractors on the commercial and contracts-related aspects.
• Managing all of the MEPF related pre and post-contract activities of the project, including procurement, variation orders, progress claims and final account.
• Collaborate with the design team and technical teams, providing input on MEPF-related issues.
• Managing the procurement process, including preparing the RFP documents, commercial and technical analysis of vendor quotations and making recommendations to award for approval of the Project Leader and Business Unit Leader.
• Preparation of periodic commercial reports and presentations to Business Unit Leaders.
• Advise on cash-flow forecasts and strategies for improvement.
• Attending regular meetings with Contractors, Consultants and Clients to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective actions.

Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• Excellent technical grounding in quantity surveying and cost management aspects
• Excellent attention to details
• Strong negotiation and influencing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English languages
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and work effectively with local team members as well as global team members
• Self-starter, action oriented, driven towards goals with strong design to fulfill commitments
• Experience in CostX/Jaggaer will be an added advantage

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• Other qualifications will be considered depending on the experience of the applicant
