Job Summary:
The Medical Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the company's pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital personnel. The role focuses on building strong relationships, increasing product awareness, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to doctors, specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Achieve assigned sales targets and objectives within the territory
- Plan and execute daily/weekly field visits and route plans
- Organize and conduct product presentations, medical discussions, and group meetings
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
- Ensure availability and visibility of products in assigned accounts
- Submit timely and accurate sales reports, call reports, and expense reports
- Attend company meetings, trainings, and product briefings
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any of the following: Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or any related field
- Preferably with experience in pharmaceutical sales (but fresh graduates may be considered)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability
- Willing to do fieldwork and travel within the assigned territory
- With valid driver's license (if required)
