Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Calamba for a Medical Physicist. The Medical Physicist will be responsible for designing and overseeing treatment plans, ensuring accurate dosimetry calculations, maintaining radiation safety standards, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide the highest standard of care. Additional tasks may include calibrating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment, participating in quality assurance programs, and staying updated on advancements in medical physics.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Treatment Planning and Dosimetry to ensure accurate and effective radiation therapy
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Medical Physics and Physics as it relates to healthcare
- Comprehensive understanding of Radiation Safety protocols to promote a safe working environment for staff and patients
- Familiarity with quality assurance techniques and equipment calibration methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong ability to collaborate with medical professionals in a multidisciplinary environment
- Master's degree in Medical Physics or a related field is required
- Certification in medical physics or eligibility for board certification is highly preferred
- Experience in a clinical setting is a plus
Qualifications:
- Degrees: A Master's (MS) or Doctorate (PhD) in Medical Physics or a related physical science.
- Certification: Certification in Medical Physicist.
