Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from members regarding healthcare benefits and services.
- Assist members with eligibility and benefits verification.
- Provide information regarding claims, coverage, and healthcare policies.
- Handle pre-authorization/pre-certification inquiries when applicable.
- Address member concerns professionally and provide appropriate solutions.
- Document customer interactions and update account information accurately.
- Follow healthcare account policies, procedures, and data privacy guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams or healthcare providers when necessary.
- Maintain excellent customer service and communication standards while handling a high volume of calls.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- At least 2 years of BPO experience, preferably in an international healthcare account.
- Experience handling member services, benefits & eligibility, claims, or pre-authorization is an advantage.
- Comfortable handling a voice-based customer service role.
- Strong problem-solving, active listening, and multitasking skills.
- College or Associate Graduate.
- Willing to work on a shifting schedule and in a hybrid setup.
