Role Description The Medical Equipment Technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of a wide range of medical equipment and devices. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine checks, troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting calibrations, and ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and hospital protocols. The role involves documenting service activities, coordinating with clinical staff to minimize equipment downtime, and supporting equipment upgrades and technology implementations. This is a full-time, on-site role based at St. Luke's Medical Center - Quezon City, requiring regular collaboration with clinical, nursing, and facilities teams to maintain safe and reliable medical technology.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Equipment Repair to support reliable operation of biomedical devices.

• Candidates should possess expertise in Medical Equipment handling and Calibration to ensure accurate performance and patient safety.

• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electrical Safety principles and standards applicable to clinical environments.

• Experience with hospital or clinical equipment environments and familiarity with regulatory and safety requirements is beneficial.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation, with strong problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

• Willingness to work on-site, support rotating schedules if needed, and respond to equipment service needs.
