This role would cover Australia market so the working hour is Philippine Time 6:30 am - 15:30 pm and would follow ANZ holiday arrangement.
ROLE: Medical Consultant
EDUCATION: University graduate (minimum) or BSc degree (preferred) or above with healthcare professional background (Nurse, pharmacist, etc.) and will be subject to Local subsidiary / regulatory requirements (e.g., Taiwan based must be pharmacist)
EXPERIENCE: Have 0-2 years Medical Science Liaison / Consultant or worked for clinical, pharmaceutical enterprise, hospital / medical institution, retail pharmacy, medical customer service center, or familiar with Local Country / Regional medical practices / status will be preferred
ROLE PURPOSE: Medical agent role to conduct daily cases handling
SKILLS:
Minimum:
1. Excellent communication skills (internal and external, oral and in writing, in local country language and English) proficient in English writing.
2. Good customer service skill, ability to understand customers, patients, as well as other external stakeholders views and needs
3. High level of scientific and ethical integrity, always putting patient safety at forefront
4. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
5. Ability to work independently while escalating risks and issues as appropriate
6. Well executed of excel / word / PPT etc. office software, adapt to all kinds of English operation / system interface
7. Outgoing and proactive. responsible, careful and good ability to work under pressure
Preferred:
1. 1 year Pharma industry experience or 1 year of relevant clinic / hospital / retail pharmacy experience (e.g., dispensary role) or at least 1 year experience of call center / customer service.
2. Excellent negotiation skills, able to diffuse tense situations comfortably, so that common ground is found
3. Knowledge of diseases and drug therapies especially related to company products
4. Understanding of pharma business models and the pharma industry climate and landscape in local market
5. Strong decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to innovate with practical solutions for complex issues
6. Knowledge of the local Ethical Code / Industry code or Regulatory requirements
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Execute DPOC processes - intake, log, classify and route cases received from all channels in accordance with SOPs / Job Aids in the agreed timeline
2. Collect information (Product, Reporter, Event, Patient: PREP, as applicable) as complete as possible to benefit effective processing of case inquiry by the handling unit and ensure documentation of all relevant information
3. Collaborate with local functions as necessary to ensure all cases are appropriately routed for further processing
4. Prepare daily reconciliation and informed handling units (PV, GSG, CHU etc.) for any potential deviation and performance monitoring activities. Can provide support if request on managing deviation
5. Perform CAPA if conducted by Indegene personnel
6. Participate in regulatory inspections / internal audits as requested
7. Highlight outstanding case / special event to QA Executive and Project Manager
8. Assist Project Manager to prepare project report
9. Case presentation in meeting as requested
10. Attend meeting and assist Project Manager if necessary
11. Perform backup duty if needed
12. Additional task assigned by Regional DPOC Lead, Country Medop Lead or Project Manager
