Job Summary
GoRocky Medical Inc. is seeking a Medical Consultant to oversee medical compliance, clinical governance, regulatory affairs, and healthcare partnerships across the organization.
This role is ideal for a physician passionate about digital health and telemedicine who can also serve as a credible public-facing medical representative for the brand. The role will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and high-quality patient care while supporting the company's long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Legal Coordination
- Ensure GoRocky's platform, services, and website comply with applicable Philippine laws and healthcare regulations, including RA 9711, RA 10918, FDA regulations, and DOH guidelines.
- Oversee the acquisition, renewal, and maintenance of all necessary licenses, permits, accreditations, and regulatory filings.
- Monitor and review marketing, advertising, and promotional materials to ensure compliance with FDA, DTI, and healthcare advertising standards.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and retained legal counsel for regulatory concerns, legal reviews, and contract coordination.
- Draft, review, and manage MOUs, partnership agreements, and healthcare-related contracts with pharmacies, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act and DOH Health Privacy Code, particularly concerning patient information, EMRs, and telemedicine operations.
Clinical Governance & Operations
- Evaluate and improve clinical workflows to promote patient safety, operational efficiency, and a seamless digital healthcare experience.
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous review of medical protocols, treatment flows, and SOPs.
- Review and approve asynchronous consultation protocols and telemedicine practices in accordance with clinical standards and medical ethics.
- Provide medical expertise in the development of new healthcare products, treatment categories, and platform features while ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
- Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and performance oversight of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and allied medical staff.
- Lead internal training sessions on medical compliance, ethics, healthcare regulations, and best practices.
Strategic Partnerships & Brand Collaboration
- Act as a credible public-facing medical representative for GoRocky and affiliated healthcare brands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, clinics, hospitals, specialists, and industry partners.
- Identify and pursue referral networks, strategic partnerships, and collaborative opportunities that support company growth.
- Act as a key bridge between medical teams and non-clinical departments such as product, marketing, customer support, and operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams on patient education, healthcare awareness, and strategic initiatives aligned with the company's mission.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Physician in the Philippines with good professional standing.
- Experience in healthcare compliance, telemedicine, digital health, clinical operations, or healthcare management is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Philippine healthcare regulations, FDA/DOH compliance, and data privacy standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup or growth-stage healthcare environment.
- Strong interest in digital health innovation, patient engagement, and healthcare accessibility.
