Position: Medical Coding QA Specialist

Location: Makati City (Onsite)

Salary Range: negotiable

About the Role:

ASP RCM Solutions Inc. is looking for a Medical Coding QA Specialist to review and ensure the accuracy and compliance of hospital medical coding for inpatient and outpatient cases.

Responsibilities:

*Audit inpatient, outpatient, and day-surgery records.

*Validate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.

*Review DRG/APC assignments and sequencing.

*Document audits and maintain QA reports.

*Provide feedback and support coder training.

*Coordinate with CDI teams and assist in denial reviews.

*Monitor coding trends and ensure compliance with guidelines.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree in medical or health related fields.

*At least 35 years of hospital medical coding experience.

*With 12 years of QA or coding audit experience (preferred).

*Active coding certifications such as CCS, CIC, CPC, CPMA, or equivalent.

*Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and DRG/APC methodologies.

*Experience using hospital EMR and encoder systems (e.g., 3M, Optum, Meditech).

*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

*Good written and verbal communication skills.
