• Seven Seven Global Services, Inc. is seeking a talented Medical Coding Lead (Medical Doctor/MD) to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a Medical Coding Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient medical coding for our healthcare clients, leveraging your expertise as a qualified medical professional. What you'll be doing

• Lead and oversee the medical coding processes for our healthcare clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Review and validate medical records, diagnoses, and procedures to assign accurate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Provide guidance and training to the coding team to maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve coding-related queries and issues
• Analyse coding data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
• Stay up-to-date with changes in coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices
• Contribute to the development and implementation of coding policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• A Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent medical degree with a strong background in medical coding and billing
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in medical coding, with 3 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Thorough knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, as well as healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex coding issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and other stakeholders
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to generate meaningful insights from coding data
• Demonstrated ability to lead and train a team of medical coders
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or AAPC) is preferred
