We are seeking an experienced
Medical Biller with a strong background in
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) billing. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience handling
HMO, Medicare, and Medicaid claims and is knowledgeable in billing processes, reimbursement guidelines, and claim follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and manage SNF claims for HMO, Medicare, and Medicaid payers.
- Review billing information for accuracy and compliance before claim submission.
- Follow up on denied, rejected, or unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile patient accounts.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and authorization issues.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and payer requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in SNF medical billing.
- Strong knowledge of HMO, Medicare, and Medicaid billing procedures.
- Experience with claim submissions, denials management, and payment posting.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR and medical billing software systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
