Company Description Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation (MVC) is the only chlor-alkali producer in the Philippines, manufacturing caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, and chlorine in commercial quantities. The company also supplies more than half of the country's sodium hypochlorite requirements, contributing to a wide range of essential consumer products used daily.

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site mechanical supervisor role based in Northern Mindanao, Philippines. The mechanical supervisor oversees the mechanical maintenance activities of plant equipment and systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, assigning tasks to maintenance personnel, and monitoring work quality and safety compliance. The role conducts regular inspections, diagnoses mechanical issues, recommends technical solutions, and collaborates with operations, engineering, and safety teams to minimize downtime. The Mechanical Supervisor also maintains maintenance records, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures adherence to company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed mechanical engineer
• Experience in the supervision of the maintenance of mechanical machinery such as compressors, blowers, boilers, pumps, agitators, heat exchangers, and other related equipment;
• Must possess leadership qualities and good human relations skills;
• Preferably proficient in computer programs such as CAD, Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.
