What will you do:
- Lead the specification, implementation, and qualification of plastic components and associated tooling processes while ensuring compliance with SPS principles
- Evaluate and ensure manufacturability of new plastic components, providing expert guidance on design specifications and production optimization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for tooling and manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with product design teams to develop technical specifications that maximize equipment utilization and manufacturing techniques
- Conduct comprehensive testing throughout production stages to maintain process control and resolve manufacturing challenges
What will make you successful:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- Strong background in manufacturing production process engineering, particularly in plastic components and tooling
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize production layouts and manufacturing sequences
- Technical expertise in production equipment, tooling processes, and manufacturing compliance requirements
