Role Description The Mechanical Field Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Biñan, responsible for supporting micro-contamination, environmental, and cleanroom monitoring systems and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing installation, commissioning, inspection, and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems, as well as diagnosing and resolving equipment issues in the field. The role involves providing technical support and service to customers, preparing service reports and documentation, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely completion of projects. The Mechanical Field Engineer will also assist in project planning, support adherence to safety and quality standards, and maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical systems, including diagnosis and repair of equipment issues.
- Demonstrated field service experience, with the ability to perform on-site installation, maintenance, and inspection of systems.
- Technical support capabilities, including handling customer inquiries, resolving technical concerns, and preparing service documentation.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Project management abilities to assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating field activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of cleanroom, environmental monitoring, or contamination control systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Biñan, travel to customer locations as needed, and comply with safety and quality guidelines.
- Proficiency with standard engineering tools, test equipment, and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
