Your impact
Join our Project Delivery team and play a key role in delivering complex engineering solutions across Cities and Places projects. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong HVAC and industrial building services experience to lead design activities, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support high-profile projects within the electronics and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support mechanical design activities for industrial and advanced facilities projects.
- Design HVAC systems, process cooling systems, heating water systems, and process exhaust systems in accordance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Manage assigned design packages and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of 2D drawings and 3D models and oversee quality control workflows.
- Develop performance-based specifications for mechanical equipment including AHUs, pumps, fans, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, scrubbers, and VOC abatement systems.
- Review contractor submittals to verify alignment with design intent and project specifications.
- Participate in client meetings, coordinate design reviews, and respond to technical comments.
- Recommend innovative engineering solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support resource planning, workload management, and project staffing activities alongside regional and global leadership teams.
- Manage design change control processes throughout project delivery.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical design for electronics manufacturing facilities, industrial projects, or building services environments.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and applicable engineering standards.
- Experience with QA/QC processes and multidisciplinary design coordination.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
- Experience with cleanroom facilities is highly desirable.
