Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop mechanical designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
Perform engineering calculations (load analysis, stress analysis, thermal analysis, fluid dynamics, etc.).
Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
Conduct site inspections and supervise installation of mechanical systems.
Evaluate equipment performance and recommend design improvements.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, procurement, and project management).
Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and technical reports.
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed within schedule and budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Licensed Mechanical Engineer (if required by jurisdiction)
Relevant work experience (project-based or industry-specific)
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of engineering standards and safety regulations
