Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Summary/Purpose

Mechanical Design Engineer will closely work with worldwide engineers to perform engineering works for hardware testing solution of next generation semiconductor devices. These include production test interfaces, docking solutions, electro-mechanical signal delivery path, stiffeners, etc. The work includes requirement analysis, feasibility study, solution evaluation, task planning, project management, design execution, quality control and verification. We are working on cutting edge requirement and future technology.

Job Description

• Provide global semiconductor test interface hardware solutions of next generation semiconductor devices for worldwide customers

• Work with worldwide engineers to define mechanical product requirements, and conceptualize, select, and define technical solutions to complex & highly integrated mechanical engineering problems

• Execute complex mechanical design, mechanical evaluation by collaborating with PCB design to achieve premium quality in hardware solution according to semiconductor test challenges

• Provide both tolerance and mechanical engineering analysis to support detail design concepts and implementation

• Responsible for global end to end hardware project management to ensure best quality and on time delivery

• Work closely with DIS Tech Global supply chain, provide solution to solve manufacture (DFM), assembly (DFA) challenges, ensure hardware products on time delivery and very high first pass rate • New technology research, new products, new materials evaluation for next generation device testing

Requirements

• Master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechanical-Electrical Integration, Mechanical Engineering & Automation, or relative major

• 2 4 years work experience in mechanical design relative work

• Proficient in using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar CAD tools to execute design

• Familiar with precise mechanical design and relative tolerance analysis method

• Knowledge and experience in PCB or embedded system structural design is a Plus

• Good communication skills, good written and oral English

• Meticulous,pay attention to details

• Ability to effectively solve problems, open minded

• Ability to successfully work in a team, cross-functional environment

• Ability to travel oversea for extended period
