Architectural works (finishes, doors, partitions, façade, roofing, FF&E, woodworks, etc.)

External works and landscaping

Structural steel works including connections, fire protection, and miscellaneous metals

Site works and earthworks

  • Prepare and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in accordance with POMI and, where required, NRM or CESMM standards.
  • Ensure BOQs are complete and aligned with the latest tender documentation, capturing any missing items as additional scope where required.
  • Identify design conflicts, missing information, and discrepancies across drawings, specifications, BOQs, and BIM models, and raise RFIs where necessary.
  • Support value engineering exercises by measuring alternative design solutions and assessing cost implications.
  • Update BOQs and quantity take-offs promptly in response to addendums, revised drawings, and RFI responses to meet submission deadlines.
  • Coordinate with estimators, senior QS staff, and package managers to ensure full scope coverage and avoid measurement errors.
  • Prepare assumptions and support the development of Schedule of Departures and tender qualifications in coordination with the team.
  • Participate in quantity reconciliation exercises with client and consultant quantity surveyors during tender stages.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, measurement records, and compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.
  • Support post-award variation measurements and commercial updates when required.

  • Strong attention to detail in quantity measurement and BOQ preparation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong ownership and accountability for assigned measurement scope.
  • Fast learning ability with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong teamwork and coordination within tendering teams.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in interpreting technical construction information.
