MDG (Master Data Governance) Manager

About the Role:

Makro Philippines is looking for a Manager - MDG Finance to own the integrity and governance of our supplier and item master data, as well as income and cost of goods sold reporting across all Commercial Divisions. This role is central to ensuring our finance and commercial systems run on accurate, reliable data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary owner of supplier and item master data in the ERP system

• Control the completeness and correctness of income collection and cost of goods sold across Commercial Divisions

• Manage Yearly Trading Agreements and provide Other Income Reports vs. budget

• Handle month-end closing for Other Income and coordinate with the Accounting team

• Improve system performance and efficiency through process and application enhancements

• Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and governance standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in master data management, cost control, or a related role

• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems required

• Strong analytical skills and understanding of retail business processes

• Excellent documentation and organizational skills
