Your Role And Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end testing strategy and execution for IBM Maximo implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
- Define test plans, test schedules, test cases, and quality metrics aligned with project goals.
- Manage and coordinate functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Oversee defect management, triage, prioritization, and resolution processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, functional consultants, and project managers to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
- Ensure test environments, test data, and tools are properly set up and maintained.
- Provide daily/weekly reporting on test progress, risks, and quality status.
- Lead and mentor a team of testers or offshore/onshore QA resources.
- Ensure testing practices comply with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Proven experience as a Test Manager or Senior QA Lead supporting IBM Maximo projects.
- Strong understanding of Maximo modules such as Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory, Purchasing, or Service Requests.
- Experience creating and executing test cases for Maximo configurations, workflows, and integrations.
- Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Zephyr, qTest)
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect management processes.
- Experience coordinating test activities across multiple teams and vendors.
- Ability to analyze requirements, define test scope, and identify testing risks.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) or Maximo upgrade projects.
- Familiarity with Maximo automation tools or test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, IBM Rational tools, or tailored Maximo test automation solutions).
- Exposure to integration testing with systems such as ERP platforms, GIS, mobile applications, or middleware.
- Knowledge of SQL for test validation and backend data verification.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile environments.
- Understanding of asset‑intensive industries such as utilities, transportation, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
- Certifications in QA, test management, or Maximo (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, IBM Maximo certifications)
