The Math Lesson Content Developer will craft high-quality content for Elementary teaching and learning materials. The primary goal is to elevate math lessons that result in motivating, effective, efficient, and visible learning.
This role entails collaborative work with the internal content team, adhering to content creation guidelines to ensure that the developed materials meet high standards, are relevant, and align with the DepEd Math curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relevant, engaging, and age-appropriate educational content for Elementary Math, encompassing:
- Lesson Plans
- Teacher Guides
- PowerPoint Slides
- Assessment Sheets
- Other supplementary materials
- Ensure timely submission of materials based on the Content Development Tracker
- Revise materials based on the feedback
- Other responsibilities as required to fulfill the objectives of the role
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or equivalent
- A major in math or a Master's Degree is an advantage
- Strong familiarity with the DepEd Mathematics curriculum
- At least 2 years of solid experience in developing or checking content and learning resources, or 2 years of solid experience in teaching Math to elementary students
- Experience in a progressive school is an advantage
- A good understanding of both student and adult learning journeys
- Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Proficient in Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint, or Apple Keynote
- Proficient with Canva or other design apps for creating presentation slides
- Willingness to work in a full-time freelancer mode for 3–6 months and report onsite at the office
