Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for Philippines-based Online Tutors specializing in Math and English. Tutors will conduct live, interactive online sessions with school-age learners, following Codeyoung's student-centric approach and curriculum guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering lessons, explaining concepts in a clear and engaging way, guiding students through exercises and activities, and providing constructive feedback on performance. Tutors will monitor learner progress, adjust teaching strategies as needed, and maintain accurate records of sessions and student outcomes. The role may also involve communicating with guardians or coordinators regarding learner progress and participating in periodic training or calibration sessions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong subject-matter skills in Mathematics and Algebra.
• Candidates should possess proven experience in Tutoring and Online Tutoring.
• Candidates should possess clear and empathetic Communication skills suitable for young learners.
• Preferred: Prior experience teaching children or young learners in online environments.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in Education, Mathematics, English, or a related field.
• Ability to work part time with a stable internet connection, suitable device, and a quiet teaching environment.
• Comfort using online teaching tools, learning platforms, and basic productivity software.
• Demonstrated patience, inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to learner-centered teaching.

Work Timings - 5:00 am - 10:00 am pht
