Job Description
- Train and mentor team members to enhance overall team performance.Oversee vehicle yard management and finished goods inventory operations.
- Monitor inbound vehicle shipments and coordinate clearance activities with logistics partners.
- Ensure logistics providers comply with operational, quality, and safety standards.
- Supervise vehicle distribution activities from ports and compounds to dealerships nationwide.
- Manage vehicle transportation performance, resource planning, and network efficiency.
- Conduct inventory audits, transportation safety reviews, and operational assessments.
- Support new vehicle launches and distribution readiness activities.
- Monitor vehicle status, logistics reporting, and inventory accuracy.
- Investigate transportation and quality-related issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Drive cost savings and process improvement initiatives across logistics and distribution operations.
- Oversee pre-delivery inspection (PDI) performance, quality standards, and supplier compliance.
- Coordinate with technical teams regarding vehicle quality concerns and service actions.
- Validate logistics and supplier invoices and support claims management activities.
- Lead KPI reviews and operational performance discussions with logistics providers.
- Support contract renewals, budget planning, and continuous improvement projects.
- Generate reports and insights to support business and operational requirements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Materials Planning & Logistics (MP&L) Pre-Delivery Inspection Supervisor should have:
- Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree in a relevant field.
- 1-3 years of experience in vehicle logistics, transportation, yard management, or supply chain operations.
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers and distribution partners.
- Knowledge of vehicle distribution, transportation, and inventory management processes.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and administrative skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools.
- Leadership experience in supervising logistics or operational activities is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to drive four-wheel vehicles.
