Role Description
This is a full-time Materials Engineer II position based on-site in Central Luzon, Philippines. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting materials research, performing material selections, and ensuring the quality and compliance of materials used in construction projects. Responsibilities also include collaborating with project teams to analyze and improve materials performance, executing quality control protocols, and providing recommendations on optimal materials applications and alternatives for various projects. The role includes contributing to the organization's commitment to advanced engineering and innovative practices in the construction industry.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Materials Science, including Materials and Material Selection processes
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D) related to the construction industry
- Proficiency and knowledge in Metallurgy
- Educational background in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
- Ability to analyze, evaluate, and recommend improvements to material specifications and applications
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with construction industry standards and certifications is a plus
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for team and stakeholder coordination
