Location: Laguna, Philippines (Currently WFH until office is set up; Office location yet to be confirmed, will be around Laguna area)

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates strong, in-depth expertise in the Industrial business segment and pricing methodologies.
  • Accountable for delivering competitive material pricing solutions to support growth and margins as per company objectives.
  • Collaborates with the global customer unit, customers, program management, business proposal leads, finance, and/or sales to determine material pricing strategies.
  • Aligns on trade-offs between proposal cycle time, solution precision, and scope with clients to deliver an agreed-upon price strategy.
  • Project manages supply chain solutions with commodity management, costing teams, and engineering teams to deliver desired pricing and margin solutions.
  • Prepares material pricing solutions for new business opportunities (bids) and manages ongoing pricing through the lifecycle of the product (repricing), including the generation of Bills of Materials, cost-competitive analyses, and margin recommendations.
  • Provides insights and recommendations to support external (customer or supplier) negotiations.
  • Presents proposed solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Performs cost-takedown trend analyses and modeling to leverage insights in service requests.
  • Conducts market research and generates product teardowns to enable competitiveness assessments in service requests.
  • Proactively drives continuous improvement in margin expansion, cycle time, pricing competitiveness, pricing tactics, and process efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a relevant field of studies.
  • At least 3–5 years of working experience in the Industrial segment within an EMS or MNC environment.
  • Experience should include cost analysis skills, as well as knowledge of material pricing and strategy.
  • Good supply base knowledge of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical commodities, such as plastics, cables, connectors, modules, PCBs, etc.
  • Proven experience in successful VA/VE proposals.
  • Knowledge of SAP & Polydyne is an added advantage; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a prerequisite.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and be self-confident; able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Strong proficiency in English (both spoken and written) to communicate with stakeholders.
