Job Description:
Primary Functions:
Responsible for leading and optimizing all planning and control activities for the HRDS Business Unit. This role ensures production plans align with capacity, customer requirements, and operational priorities while driving on-time delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the overall Production Planning and Control (PPC) operations for the HRDS Business Unit.
Develop and maintain executable production plans based on published Industrial Engineering (IE) capacity, production specifications, and customer demand.
Provide guidance to Planners in translating customer requirements into accurate production requirements and schedules.
Supervise, coach, and monitor the performance of Production Planners to ensure alignment with departmental goals and defined Key Result Areas (KRAs).
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance to support planner development and accountability.
Prepare and provide accurate weekly Production Planning and Control reports in line with established KRAs.
Provide monthly production forecasts with Industrial Engineering team to support capacity planning and respond to changes in customer demand and volume.
Collaborate closely with Lawrence, MA and Ennis, Ireland counterparts to optimize weekly material receipts and shipment of sub-assemblies.
Participate in regular Operations meetings, proactively addressing issues, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure customer requirements are met and issues/concerns are addressed.
Perform supervisory duties including training, onboarding, coaching, and development of planners to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote discipline, professionalism, and strong business etiquette within the planning team.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Production Planning and Control, Manufacturing Planning, or Supply Chain Planning within a manufacturing semiconductor environment.
At least 3-4 years of supervisory or leadership experience, managing planners or similar operational roles.
Experience working in a multi-site or global manufacturing environment is preferred.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint Presentation
Strong leadership and people management skills
