About the Role
We are looking for a Master Electrician to take ownership of the electrical systems and equipment in our factory. This is a hands-on, on-site role responsible for keeping our production machinery and facility running safely and reliably. You will handle installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair work, respond to breakdowns and emergencies, and work closely with our Production and Maintenance teams to keep downtime to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems and equipment breakdowns
- Carry out regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems and production machinery
- Inspect electrical panels, wiring, motors, breakers, switches, and other components
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment
- Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in line with electrical safety standards and company policies
- Identify and report electrical hazards and unsafe conditions
- Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with the Production and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime
- Respond to electrical emergencies and urgent maintenance concerns
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Registered Master Electrician, at least TESDA certified
- Graduate of Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related course
- Experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motors, and control panels
- Skilled in troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance
- Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
- Knowledgeable in electrical safety procedures
- Physically fit for hands-on electrical work
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Willing to work overtime or shifting schedules when required
