Master Data Support

We are the shared services arm of OMRON, supporting our global operations through efficient and reliable service delivery. We are looking for a motivated professional to join our team and work closely with international stakeholders to help drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Provide first-level system and operational support for SAP Ariba, SAP, and JD Edwards (JDE) systems. The role handles routine system concerns, master data maintenance, purchase order-related support, and transaction requests by following established procedures, manuals, and knowledge articles. Complex issues are escalated to the appropriate support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Tier 1 point of contact for SAP Ariba, SAP, and JDE-related concerns. Review and resolve routine issues by following established SOPs, manuals, and knowledge articles, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Perform master data creation, updates, validation, and maintenance across SAP Ariba, SAP, and JDE, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Assist with SAP Purchase Order (PO)-related activities and other system transactions, master data maintenance, and operational requests based on established workflows.
• Assist with Ariba transaction management and payment-related requests, ensuring accurate and timely processing in accordance with documented procedures.
• Monitor support tickets and system alerts, track pending requests, and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain and update SOPs, process manuals, training materials, and ServiceNow knowledge articles covering routine processes and common system issues.
• Coordinate with users, internal teams, and Tier 2 support to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and follow up on outstanding requests.
• Identify recurring issues, documentation gaps, and opportunities to improve support procedures, data quality, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in system support, master data management, finance operations, procurement support, or a related role.
• Basic familiarity with SAP Ariba, SAP ERP, and/or JD Edwards (JDE) is an advantage.
• Experience handling support tickets, maintaining master data, or processing system transactions is preferred.
• Ability to follow established SOPs, process manuals, and work instructions to resolve routine issues.
• Good attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn additional systems and support other master data and operational activities as needed.
• Willing to work onsite in Makati for 1–2 weeks, as required.
• Willing to work on India Standard Time (IST) or other schedules aligned with business requirements, as required.
