Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Master Data Specialist to manage, maintain, and enhance critical business data including suppliers, customers, and other key records ensuring smooth financial and operational processes. This role covers data entry, reporting, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration, as well as supporting governance, training, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update master data attributes in company systems as needed.
- Manage and fulfill data requests to support business processes in a closed-loop environment.
- Extract, analyze, and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare regular status reports, charts, and KPIs based on existing datasets.
- Enforce and support data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent and reliable data.
- Adhere to the company's Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct at all times.
- Train and mentor new team members.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and participate in new projects.
- Assist the MDM Team Leader with ad hoc tasks.
- Lead and oversee changes or modifications to master data processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in master data management or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and strong general computer skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (asset).
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 is an advantage (training provided if necessary).
