Job Description
Five platforms, several brands, and a TikTok channel to build from zero. Bring the ideas, not just the posts.
Our client is a US founder-led wellness brand focused on women's health and longevity, with a speaking and executive-forum business alongside a consumer newsletter and video audience. One side of the business speaks to CEOs and executive peer groups; the other publishes practical, evidence-minded content on nutrition, healthy aging and women's health for a consumer audience. Both run on social media, and both need to sound like themselves.
You will own day-to-day social media across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Substack and a TikTok channel that is just getting started, reporting to the Marketing Manager. You will design in Canva, edit short-form video in CapCut, keep several content calendars full at once, and bring trend ideas forward before anyone asks for them.
This is not a role where you wait for a task list. The client wants a creative partner: someone who spots a trend, connects it to a specific brand, and walks in with the rationale and the execution ready. Because the content touches health and wellness, they also need someone who checks a claim before repeating it. That combination of initiative and judgment is why this seat is trusted with the brand's voice.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management — Multi-Platform
- Own day-to-day social media activity across Instagram, Facebook, Substack, LinkedIn, and TikTok for a portfolio of B2B and B2C brands
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across every active platform with consistency, quality, and a brand-specific tone
- Manage content calendars for several brands at once, so no platform goes dark and no deadline is missed
- Adapt messaging and creativity for each platform and audience: what works on TikTok is not what works on LinkedIn
- Help launch and grow a new TikTok channel, establishing its content direction, voice and posting cadence from the ground up
Content Creation—Canva & CapCut
- Design and produce social graphics, carousels, stories, Reels, and short-form video in Canva and CapCut
- Edit short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook, including captions, transitions, music, and on-screen text
- Maintain brand-specific design templates and visual standards across all creative output
- Repurpose existing content intelligently across platforms to maximize reach without duplicating effort
Substack Management
- Support the creation, formatting and publishing of Substack newsletters for the brands that use them
- Keep Substack content consistent with each brand's voice and social media messaging
- Track subscriber engagement and open rates, and bring observations and growth ideas to the Marketing Manager
Trend Research & Strategic Input
- Monitor social media trends, platform algorithm changes, emerging content formats and competitor activity across all relevant channels
- Bring trend observations and content ideas to the Marketing Manager proactively; you do not wait to be asked what is trending
- Show how a trend applies to each brand specifically, with a clear rationale and an execution idea ready to present
- Take part in marketing planning conversations with ideas, not just updates
LinkedIn—B2B Brand Presence
- Manage LinkedIn presence for the B2B brands, including company page updates, publishing, and engagement
- Develop LinkedIn content that speaks credibly to a professional audience: thought leadership, industry commentary, and brand positioning
- Monitor LinkedIn engagement and report what is resonating and what is not
Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Track and analyze performance across all platforms and brands: engagement, reach, follower growth, and content performance
- Prepare clear, concise performance summaries for the marketing manager on a regular schedule
- Use data to shape future content: bring observations and recommendations, not just numbers
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media marketing across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn; managing several accounts or brands at the same time is a strong plus
- Hands-on proficiency in Canva: you produce high-quality visuals independently
- Hands-on proficiency in CapCut or a comparable short-form video editor
- A working understanding of each platform's formats and algorithms: you can explain why content performs the way it does
- Experience creating or managing TikTok content, or a demonstrated understanding of TikTok content strategy
- Experience with Substack or a comparable email or newsletter platform
- A genuine creative sensibility: your content looks intentional, not templated
- A proactive communicator who brings ideas forward without being prompted
- Organized enough to run content calendars and posting schedules for several brands at once
- Able to work a schedule that overlaps US Pacific business hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing across a multi-brand portfolio, balancing different voices, audiences and business objectives
- Background in both B2B and B2C marketing, shifting tone and strategy by audience
- Experience presenting content ideas, trend reports or campaign concepts to a marketing lead or stakeholder
- Familiarity with a scheduling tool such as Buffer, Later, Hootsuite or Meta Business Suite
- Video production or content creation skills beyond CapCut; comfort in front of the camera is a bonus
- Experience with wellness, health or nutrition content, and the care that health claims and product disclosures require
Tools & Software
Required
- Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Substack and TikTok — active daily management
- Canva — graphic design and creative production
- CapCut — short-form video editing Preferred
- A social media scheduling platform — Buffer, Later, Hootsuite or Meta Business Suite
- Platform analytics — Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, TikTok Analytics
- MS Teams for day-to-day communication
What Success Looks Like
- First 30 days: You know each brand's voice, audience and visual standards; every active platform is on a calendar you own, scheduled ahead; nothing has gone dark.
- By 60 days: The TikTok channel is posting on a steady cadence; you have brought your first trend pitches with a rationale and an execution plan; your performance summaries end in recommendations.
- By 90 days: The Marketing Manager relies on your summaries to make content decisions, approves your ideas with light edits, and spends less time managing the calendar because you already are.
Growth Trajectory
This role is designed to grow. As you learn each brand and show you can think strategically, not just execute, you will take on more ownership of content strategy, campaign planning and cross-brand initiatives. The client wants someone who sees this as a career opportunity and wants to grow into a more senior marketing role.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- You open your feeds every morning as a marketer, not just a user, always looking at what is working and why
- You bring trends to the Marketing Manager before they ask, with a clear idea of how to apply them
- Your content for different brands looks and feels distinctly different, because you understand each audience
- You manage five platforms and three brands without anything going dark or falling behind
- You have creative instincts and the technical skills to execute them; you do not need someone else to make your ideas look good
- When something in a draft sounds too good to be true, you check it before it goes out
What We Offer
- Up to $8/hour
- 100% remote work
- Full-time role We hire for the long haul, so a steady track record of staying and growing always moves you up our list.
