Job Description

Role Overview:

The Marketing Operations Specialist owns the systems that generate qualified leads for our marketing agency. This role sits within our internal marketing team and is focused on generating leads for CGN (not client work). The position bridges our top-of-funnel content engine (ads, social, YouTube, podcast) and our sales team, ensuring traffic converts into sales-ready opportunities.

This is primarily an operational and technical role, not a creative one. The Marketing Operations Specialist builds and manages HubSpot workflows, webinar funnels, email campaigns, and our case study library, ensuring every lead is captured, nurtured, and routed correctly.

Success in this role requires strong technical ability (HubSpot, automation tools, WordPress) paired with operational discipline, attention to detail, and consistent execution.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Webinar Operations: Build and manage end-to-end webinar funnels, including landing pages (WordPress/Elementor), Zoom integrations, HubSpot registration flows, email sequences, and live event logistics.
  • Marketing Automation: Architect HubSpot workflows for lead routing, scoring, and nurturing; maintain pipeline hygiene and data standards; create sales enablement assets.
  • Email Marketing: Build and send weekly newsletters in HubSpot and manage the broadcast calendar.
  • Social Proof & Case Studies: Produce and publish case studies using provided content and video; build pages in WordPress/Elementor and package assets for Sales.
  • Marketing Reporting & Dashboards: Build and maintain dashboards that provide clear visibility into performance across channels.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor GA4, Search Console, and HubSpot reporting to identify funnel gaps and optimization opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on HubSpot experience
  • Proficiency with WordPress and Elementor
  • Experience with automation tools (Zapier, n8n, Make, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of GA4 and Search Console
  • Strong data, reporting, and dashboard-building skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and operational mindset
  • Solid written communication skills
  • Ability to handle minor creative tasks when needed

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with n8n
  • Webinar funnel experience (Zoom)
  • Agency or fast-paced startup background
