Job Description
Marketing & Sales Coordinator | Remote, Day Shift (AU Hours) | Full Employment with Benefits
This is a permanent, full-time role with full local employment through our Employer of Record, not a freelance or contractor setup. You get all your government-mandated benefits, and because you work Australian hours, it's a day shift in the Philippines. No graveyard shift.
Work directly with the founder of a specialist recruitment firm, running the marketing and keeping the sales engine moving, with real ownership from week one. A SaaS, ERP or tech background is ideal but not required.
The split is roughly half and half. One day you're writing the newsletter and scheduling a week of social content, the next you're building prospect lists, chasing replies and getting discovery calls into the founder's calendar. If you like creating content and you're organised enough to keep a pipeline moving, this is built for you.
Marketing and content (about 50%)
- Plan, write and schedule social content, mainly LinkedIn, for both the company and the founder
- Write and send the client and candidate newsletters, then track what people actually open and click
- Turn placements, market insights and founder commentary into posts, graphics and short-form content
- Build simple campaign assets: landing pages, lead magnets, job ad copy and email templates
- Keep branding and messaging consistent everywhere it shows up
- Report on what's working: reach, engagement, subscriber growth and inbound enquiries
Sales funnel support (about 50%)
- Build and clean targeted prospect lists of hiring managers and decision-makers
- Research target accounts and prepare briefing notes so every touch is relevant
- Help run multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn) in Smartlead and our CRM
- Draft and test outreach sequences, subject lines and follow-ups to lift reply rates
- Own the follow-up: chase replies, keep sequences moving, make sure nothing goes cold
- Schedule discovery calls onto the founder's calendar and hand over with full context
- Keep the CRM and pipeline data clean and current
- Pitch in on candidate delivery when needed: shortlists, profiles and coordination
You won't be closing deals or negotiating fees, that stays with the founder. Your job is building the audience and keeping the funnel full and moving.
Who this suits
- You've done marketing, content or sales support in a small team and liked wearing both hats
- Your written English is genuinely excellent, non-negotiable, since you'll be writing content and outreach that goes out under our name
- You can write a newsletter people finish and a follow-up email that gets a reply
- You're comfortable with social scheduling tools, email platforms and CRMs, or you learn them fast
- You like systems, calendars and knowing exactly where every lead and every post is up to
- Recruitment industry exposure is a plus, not a requirement
Practical bits
- Fully remote from anywhere in the Philippines, working Australian business hours. In Manila time that's a day shift with an early morning start (around 8 or 7am depending on Australian daylight saving), never a night shift
- Full local employment through our Employer of Record, not a contractor arrangement: 13th month pay, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and paid leave
- Structured six-month ramp-up with training across marketing, outbound, tools and the recruitment business
- Modern stack (Claude, Smartlead, and modern email, social and CRM tools), and you'll learn to use it properly
- Results-focused: audience growth, engagement, booked meetings and pipeline generated, not hours logged
