The Marketing Officer (Graphic Designer) will be responsible for producing visually engaging and brand-consistent designs that support our marketing, in-store promotions, digital presence, and overall brand identity. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design visual assets for marketing campaigns, promotional materials, in-store displays, packaging, signage, and social media.
- Collaborate with the marketing, merchandising, and retail operations teams to create cohesive visual communications.
- Ensure all designs align with the companys branding guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
- Create digital content such as website banners, email marketing templates, social media graphics, and ads.
- Support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and special events with creative visual concepts.
- Prepare print-ready files and liaise with printers or production teams as needed.
- Keep up to date with trends in design, retail, and digital marketing.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
Skill Requirements
- Familiarity with retail marketing and customer engagement trends.
- Experience with photography or product styling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a retail or consumer-facing environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of video editing and motion graphics is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across print and digital platforms.
- Excellent eye for detail, layout, typography, and color.
- Ability to take direction, receive feedback constructively, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple deadlines and priorities.
