Job Description

  • Develop a comprehensive product strategy for the assigned category, aligning with overall company goals and market trends. Identify growth opportunities within the category.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Use insights to inform Principals and/or Suppliers on product development and enhancements.
  • Work closely with Sales teams to effectively market the products features and benefits to enhance customer experience through compelling messaging and marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and implement planograms for showrooms, mock-ups and project presentation. Optimizing in-store displays with prompted signage, category markers, and category usage tips, features and benefits (FAB).
  • Coordinates with the Procurement and Sales teams for proper managing of inventories and supply planning.
  • Collaborates with Sales teams and Principals representatives to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Provide training and resources to support Sales teams in effectively promoting and selling the products.
  • Monitor product performance, client engagement, and analyze data to make informed decisions on product improvements and optimizations.
  • Communicate product plans, updates, and progress to internal stakeholders and leadership. Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Product Manager or in a related role, preferably in the consumer, retail, tiles, or construction goods industry.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, including agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation to drive informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with the Philippines market and consumer preferences is advantageous.
