The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive brand visibility and product demand among hotels, restaurants, caterers, and food service providers. This role involves analyzing market trends, managing product portfolios, designing promotional campaigns, and collaborating closely with sales teams to build customer intimacy and meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- HORECA Marketing Strategy: Develop, implement, and review annual marketing plans tailored specifically to the HORECA channel, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Product Portfolio Management: Manage the product life cycle for frozen meat, including new product development (NPD), pricing strategies, and ensuring product availability.
- Customer Engagement & Activation: Lead customer engagement, such as conducting product demos, tasting events, and trade shows for chefs and purchasing managers.
- Brand Development: Build brand awareness through digital marketing, content creation, and traditional media tailored to the B2B hospitality market.
- Sales & Trade Support: Collaborate with sales teams to create promotional campaigns, marketing materials (catalogs, brochures), and customized offers (special packs).
- Market Analysis & Insights: Monitor competitor activities, consumer trends, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
- Budget & ROI Management: Manage the marketing budget, track ROI for campaigns, and prepare performance reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong preference for background in B2B food/beverage manufacturing, meat processors, or HORECA food service.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the HORECA industry, including procurement processes, menu engineering, and food safety standards.
- Product Knowledge: Technical knowledge of frozen meat products, cuts, and cold chain management is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
- Communication: Very good communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with chefs, procurement managers, and sales teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital marketing and MS Office.
