The Brand Associate is responsible for strategic positioning and brand promotion of a specific brand to be able to capture the attention of target consumers. He/She analyses and monitors market trends to assess the impact of branding and promotional activities on the ground.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducting research to get latest updates and identify market trends to be able to target consumers preferences and know competition and determine opportunities for growth
- Designing marketing plans and strategies to heighten brand awareness
- Responsible in reviewing product, ie. pricing & features and positioning in the market and give suggestions for improvements
- Assist in crafting effective media campaigns and identify the most appropriate distribution channels
- Highly in-charge of communicating branding plans to both internal and external agencies prior to any launch
- Ensuring that brand presence are utilized both online and offline channels
- Participate in sponsorship/promotional events for easy brand recognition
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Marketing, Advertising and/or Communications, Business, or its equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written, including the ability to prepare reports, proposals and procedures
- Strong leadership
- Good stress and time management
- Tactful and discrete when dealing with people and confidential information
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- At least 2-3 years work experience in Marketing Brand
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily assumptions
- Creative and detail oriented
- Possess strong customer service orientation
- Highly dependable and a fast learner
- Organized, flexible, assertive, and has a high sense of urgency
