About Role

Job Title: Marketing Automation Engineer

Work Experience: 2-5 years of experience in CRM/Marketing Automation engineering or MarTech development

Location: Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand (Remote or Hybrid)

Academic Qualification:

●    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technical field required

●    Relevant certifications in HubSpot, CRM platforms, cloud computing, or API development are an advantage

We are hiring a mid-level Marketing Automation Engineer to join our Patient Solutions (PSP) Team, which designs and delivers digital patient engagement and support programs across multiple countries.

In this role, you will work independently on technical execution, implementing CRM configurations, marketing automation workflows, and multi-channel integrations—primarily using HubSpot and supporting tools. You will not be part of the product development or software engineering group; instead, you will focus on operational enablement for patient-facing digital programs.

You will collaborate with a Business Solutions Lead (who defines requirements and data logic) and a Digital Marketing Executive (who manages campaign content and schedules). Your role is to make the system work through configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

Expectations from you

Marketing Automation & CRM Execution

●    Configure HubSpot CRM objects, lists, workflows, forms, scoring rules, and lifecycle stages

●    Implement email/SMS/WhatsApp/LINE/Viber/other channel automation according to requirements

●    Build and maintain lead capture forms, landing pages, and automation triggers

API & System Integrations

●    Design and implement API integrations between HubSpot and external platforms:

o  Messaging channels (WhatsApp, LINE, Viber, etc.)

o  Telephony/voice systems (e.g., Voiso, Twilio)

o  Customer support systems (e.g., Freshworks)

o  Internal clinical systems or data repositories

●    Build automation scripts, webhook handlers, and connector services for data syncing

●    Work with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, and event-based triggers

●    Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize for performance and stability

Data & Reporting

·    Set up dashboards, performance reports, and monitor logic within HubSpot

·    Maintain data quality through validation, deduplication, and cleansing routines

·    Support tracking and attribution setup for campaigns and patient journeys

Cross-Functional Collaboration

·    Work with the Business Solutions team to understand feature and data requirements

·    Support campaign teams in implementing automation logic and testing

·    Participate in QA checks, UAT testing, and incremental releases for new features

Skills/Competencies required

Must have:

  • Hands-on HubSpot experience (CRM + Marketing Hub)
  • Familiarity with APIs, RESTful services, JSON, and webhooks
  • Experience with WhatsApp/LINE/Viber/Twilio/Voiso/Freshworks integrations
  •  Experience with technical tools such as Postman, Make/Zapier, or webhook middleware
  •  Strong logical thinking, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Can work independently after receiving structured requirements

Preferred:

●    Basic scripting experience (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or Node.js)

●    Familiarity with data privacy considerations in regulated environments

●    Understanding of digital engagement funnels and lifecycle automation

●    Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) for serverless workloads

●    Experience working in multi-country or multinational environments supporting multiple markets.

●    Exposure to multi-language or multi-brand automation systems.

Core competencies:

●    Strong analytical and structural thinking

●    Ability to translate business and marketing logic into technical systems

●    Ownership mindset with strong attention to detail

●    Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment

Culture at Docquity

  • While we have been growing fast, we are still small enough that everyone makes a pivotal difference. We care less about hours worked and more about the outcome — and the impact you make. We have worked hard to create an autonomous working culture emphasizing work/life balance and a fun working environment. We follow the hybrid work culture.
