Job Summary:
The Marketing Associate for Summit Media's outdoor business will support the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing initiatives. This role will help promote the company's OOH inventory, support sales enablement efforts, coordinate marketing campaigns, conduct market research, and contribute to brand-building activities across traditional and digital channels.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns promoting OOH advertising solutions.
- Support product launches, new billboard site announcements, digital OOH offerings, and special advertising packages.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
- Support lead generation and client engagement activities.
- Coordinate campaign materials, presentations, case studies, and promotional assets.
- Maintain and update marketing databases, prospect lists, and CRM records.
- Assist in preparing proposals and marketing recommendations for prospective advertisers.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, advertising innovations, and consumer insights.
- Conduct research on audience demographics, traffic data, mobility patterns, and media consumption trends.
- Analyze campaign performance and prepare post-campaign reports.
- Gather and interpret data to support marketing strategies and business decisions.
- Support the planning and execution of industry events, trade shows, client appreciation events, and sponsorship activities.
- Represent the company at marketing and networking events when required.
- Track marketing budgets and campaign expenses.
- Coordinate with vendors, printers, production teams, and media partners.
- Maintain marketing calendars and project timelines.
- Ensure marketing materials remain current and aligned with brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, media, communications, or related industries.
- Experience in OOH, media, advertising agencies, or digital advertising is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and/or Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
- Knowledge of social media management and digital marketing principles.
- Basic understanding of graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with media planning, advertising sales support, or campaign management.
- Understanding of audience measurement, media metrics, and advertising performance reporting.
- Familiarity with Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising platforms.
- Experience creating client presentations and marketing reports.
